Information you choose to share
We collect information only when you choose to provide it, such as your name, email address, phone number, country of residence, age, profile picture, prayer request, contact message, testimony, comment on a ministry video, saved media list, or account details.
How we use it
Ministry staff use this information to respond to you, pray with you, manage your member account, provide requested ministry services, maintain website security, and improve the ministry’s online experience. Prayer requests and contact messages are handled privately unless you clearly agree to public sharing.
Profile photos and permissions
When you choose a profile photo in the APNOM app, Android’s file picker lets you select one file. The app does not request access to your full photo library. The chosen photo is uploaded securely to your APNOM profile.
Media and comments
The APNOM app does not request camera or microphone access. Authorised ministry staff publish media through the secured administration website. Video comments are linked to the signed-in member account and can be hidden by ministry staff to protect the community.
Sharing and storage
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with authorized ministry staff and service providers needed to operate the website, protect the ministry, or comply with the law.
Website analytics
Google Analytics is disabled until you choose “Allow analytics” in the website privacy notice. If you consent, it helps us understand page visits, general device information, broad geographic region, and how people move through the ministry website. We disable Google advertising signals and do not use Analytics for personalised advertising. You can change your choice at any time through “Analytics preferences” in the footer.
Your choices and account deletion
You may ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, subject to legal and operational obligations. Members can permanently delete their account inside the APNOM app under My Account. You can also initiate deletion without the app through our account deletion request page. For other privacy questions, contact admin@answeredprayernetwork.ca.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when we do.
